Safety First.....

Hmmm..you will see this sign all over the ship..safety first...this word will make you sick at the first..but you will realize thats really important when you re in the real emergency....
Thats why usually bfore join the ship most of all the crw have their safety certificate like BST (basic safety training)...the basic things that you re need in emergency.
    For the passanger also they have their passanger drill,usually the ship will doing drill after the ships sailing,for passanger its not so complicated like the crew..just the simple one,how to put on the life jacket,where to go in the emergency,and what to do in emergency,everybody have their own muster station,a place where you have to assembly in case of emergency.
 All the crew on board have teir own duty during the emergency,so the safety officer will give you a safety card with your duty on it.And you will have training if you have special duty..usually if you re on duty in the emergency team,like fire team,first aid team and also the boat team.
And you have to attend the training...or you will get a warning letter...if you have 3 of it and bye bye...:)
    Emergency drill will happen once in a cruise..usually during your working hour.and its really annoying sometimes for the crew..but you cant run away from it...only some people will have excuse with this drill.
So forget about your  job or what ever you do..even if you re sleeping..you have to run and dont forget to bring your life jacket with you.

  For the ship that having port in USA they have more stict drill coz the USA coast guard will doing inspection during the cruise..and you re never know when n where..so be ready..
