Thats a word that everybody will heard when they enter the ship..doesnt matter thats ship on the sea or on the river,thats the first word you will listen.
For the crew when they sign on ,there is some rules and regulation that they need to know,expecially the safet on board.Thats why the safety officer will bring the crew to walk around the ship to familirization about the safety.And they have to follow so many drill for safety on board,coz life on board its different with life on the land.Rules number one...SAFETY FIRST ! thats it..no bargain :).
And there are a lot of things to know when a crew will join the ship,its not so easy to live with different people from another part of the world,with different culture,different style,and so many things that you never imagine.But this kind of things really an experience in life time that you will never forget.
